Research

The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Faculty of Health Sciences conducts research activities aimed at developing evidence-based physiotherapy practices and supporting a culture of scientific research. Faculty members and students carry out national and international scientific studies in fields such as neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, musculoskeletal diseases, ergonomics, health promotion, and quality of life. Scientific productivity is supported through TÜBİTAK projects, scientific research projects (BAP), undergraduate and graduate thesis studies, conference presentations, and articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Our department aims to conduct innovative and ethically sound research that contributes to society by encouraging interdisciplinary collaborations.
