  • MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF DEPARTMENT
Dear Students and Prospective Students,

Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is a constantly evolving health discipline that combines scientific knowledge with a direct impact on human life, and its social value is increasing every day. Physiotherapy applications, carried out with the aim of preserving, developing, and restoring movement and function, play a significant role in improving the quality of life of individuals as well as contributing to the development of public health.

The main goal of our department is to train physiotherapists who, in addition to their professional knowledge and skills, adhere to ethical values, think critically, follow scientific developments, research, question, and embrace lifelong learning. In this regard, we offer our students a strong theoretical foundation as well as practical training opportunities supported by current and evidence-based approaches; we encourage them to gain experience in different clinical fields.

In today's rapidly changing healthcare environment, the roles expected of physiotherapists are also diversifying every day. Therefore, we do not limit our educational approach solely to the transfer of knowledge; We consider it a primary goal to cultivate individuals with strong communication skills, a knack for teamwork, adaptability to technology, a commitment to evidence-based practices, and a high sense of social responsibility.

In our department, we value not only our students' academic development but also their personal and professional growth. We encourage our students to participate in research projects, take part in scientific events, contribute to activities and decision-making processes aimed at improving the quality of education, engage in social responsibility projects, and benefit from international exchange programs. We believe that a good physiotherapist is not only defined by professional knowledge but also by a curious, productive, sharing, and open-minded approach to development.

Dear students; you are not only the healthcare professionals of today but also of the future. We will be delighted to guide you on this journey, witness your successes, and contribute to your professional development.

Dear prospective students; if you aim to touch human lives, think scientifically, continuously learn, and be part of a profession that makes a difference in the healthcare field, we invite you to join our dynamic and productive academic family.

With love and respect…

Prof. Dr. Funda DEMİRTÜRK
